Orillia Perch Festival

Its time for our perch festival here in Orillia Most of the ice is off the lake and the perch fishing has begun. At the narrows is where the bulk of the fishing takes place, Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching are joined with a narrow water way and the tagged fish are released in that area.

All the major banks are downtown if you need some cash and one of our prize places on Mississaga a 2 minute walk down the street is Wilkie’s Bakery and Mariposa Market with Apple Annies in the basement . In Orillia we have it all!
