In Orillia we machine brake rotors all the time on our FMC brake lathe we turn your rotors and save you money. When you own a full size truck like a Ford f150 or a 1500 series GMC or maybe a newer car with a pulsation and the rotors cost over a $100.00 or more why not spend $60.00 or so on pads $50.00 on machining $60.00 labour total $170…$200 on a front brake job and knowing it’s going to last 30 to 50 thousand kms only because this is the second time round for those poor brake rotors and brake calipers!
Some of the newer SUV for example a Dodge Journey the Brakes are only lasting for 40 or 50 thousand kms anyway and if you pulling a pop up trailer or something that number can be even lower.
